Without the use of various types of bearings, the equipment's various functions would be unable to operate normally. Large cranes used in seaports operate long-term under marine climatic conditions characterised by high levels of salt spray, high humidity and significant temperature fluctuations, whilst large cranes operating in inland ports are similarly affected by industrial atmospheres and harsh weather conditions. During operation, large port equipment performs multiple actions simultaneously, with various loads acting concurrently; these factors all have a significant impact on bearing performance.
